Remark: In the past, there were two versions of OnTheAir Video.  These have now been combined into one.  However, if you want to play DVCPro HD 1080i/50 (PAL) clips, you have to choose "DVCPro HD 1080i/50 (PAL)" in the Preferences Playback Video Standard, in case you want to play uncompressed 1080i video, please choose "Full HD 1080i/50 (PAL)". The same is true for NTSC clips.

Remark: There is one known bug in the HD version: for 1080i50 Video you must set the Video format to "HDTV1080i 59.94". You must also use the latest MacPro with Graphic Card Radeon HD 2600 XT. It also needs to be optimized for HD and for now you will be more limited than in SD. Send us your comments on this version if you are trying it and we'll figure out how to improve it.

DEMO VERSIONS

All our Software can be downloaded and used in Demo Mode for testing.
In Demo Mode all functionality will be available, but you will just have some limitations: for example OnTheAir Video will overlay a DEMO logo on the output.

Temporary Serial Numbers with no limitations are available upon request.


NOTE

If you are using OnTheAir Video or MovieRecorder, you will need a PCI or PCIe video card installed inside your Macintosh computer in order to get video output or input.  If you are using OnTheAir Video DV or MovieRecorder DV, you must have a video camera or video converter attached to the Firewire port of your Mac in order to get video output or input. If you do not have a video card installed or are not connected to a Firewire video device, you will be able to test the User Interface but you will not be able to have any video output and or input.

SOFTWARE PROTECTION

You can choose wether you want to be provided with a Serial number or a physical dongle.

Serial Numbers are cheaper and quicker to get as there are no physical shipment. They can be moved from one computer to another following a Deactivation/Activation process. Activation of the software is linked to a computer and hard drive.

Dongles are more expensive (you must add 100€ to your order for each dongle) and will be delivered within a few days as they have to be sent over. They have the advantage that they can be moved from one computer to another quicker and easier than the process of Deactivation/Activation of the Serial Numbers.
